Does house subsidence impact home insurance?

Subsidence is a common problem, which could pose a huge problem for home insurance. Should you spot the symptoms of subsidence, you must address your situation before the ground under the property collapses. However, this doesn’t mean that the property sinks entirely into the ground, such as the foundation slowly sinking in. If the foundation is impacted, the property sinks in and cracks appear in the structure itself. As a result, the property’s side sinks lower in the ground, giving the house an extremely slanted look. Over time, the house starts dropping even lower, starts disintegrating and causes a breakdown in the neighbourhood.
